Growing up, Keiron-Bruce had many ambitions—some days dreaming of being a Jedi, others a scientist. Today, he combines elements of both in his professional life.
Current Role
Keiron-Bruce currently works at Thirst Bar Services as an Events Manager and bar trainer. By day, he manages and coordinates events; by night, he applies the science and discipline of cocktail making as a true mixology Jedi.
His Journey
Keiron-Bruce’s love for hands-on learning and creativity began in school, where he excelled in chemistry practicals and art classes. His first job at 18 was as a bartender in a small family pub, where he met a mentor who trained him in cocktail bartending and later hired him at Thirst Bar Services.
He gained extensive experience working at various events, clubs, and lounges throughout Cape Town’s vibrant nightlife scene. Rising to become head bartender at a cocktail lounge, he eventually transitioned into his current role as an Events Manager and bar trainer. His passion for mixology, combining both the art and science of cocktail creation, continues to inspire him to excel every day.
